Display a product detail from Virtuemart

Hello,

I am trying to set a product detail from VM in a module position.
I have created a special position in the layout.

I am displaying a list of products and by default the first product-details are being displayed in the module position. But when a use clicks another product in the product list the product details should appear in the module position.

I installed the Metamod 2.1 on a localinstallation of Joomla 1.5.14 VM 1.1.4.

I have included a few screenshots of my setting and frontpage.

Can you give me a direction??

Hi Rogier,

A few things:

(1) You say "by default the first product-details are being displayed in the module position". Do you have a screenshot of that? Which module (apart from MetaMod) will show the product details?

(2) In the MetaMod recipe you are returning module number 101. You always have to change that module number to the actual module number that you want to include. I don't see a module 101 in your module list... so which one do you want to display?

It looks like you need to do some more planning for exactly what you want to happen.

- decide which pages you want a special module to appear on
- decide which module that is going to be
- work out how to tell MetaMod how to identify the correct page to display the module on.
