Please help me i'm loosing my head.
Thank you very much!

Re: Disable module on specific categories Virtuemart
Hi,
Answer: Yes, you can.
I suggest the following pages:
http://www.metamodpro.com/metamod/quick-start
http://www.metamodpro.com/metamod/recip … mart-pages
Also, there are lots of other posts on the forum here about VM. Do a site search and see what you can some up with.
If you have any questions after that, please don't hesitate to write back.
Cheers,
Stephen
Re: Disable module on specific categories Virtuemart
Thanks Stephen for your reply.
I'm really newbie on PHP, plus my english is not so good and maybe i don't understand something from the pages you linked.
Basically:
I've got this module/component, called MagicZoom, and it should work only on some Virtuemart category products details.
I installed the mod_metamod module, i enabled it and disabled the menu assignment. I set the position as the MagicZoom module.
Then i wrote that on PHP form:
$vm = JomGenius("virtuemart");
if ($vm->check("category_ids = 18, 19, 20")) return 60;
// replace XXX with the module id to use on categories 4, 5 and 6
I replaced the ID from categories and modules as well, and obviously nothing changed.
NOW: How i can disable the module on all the other categories??
Thank for your patience.
M.
Re: Disable module on specific categories Virtuemart
The MetaMod has to be published and set to a real position on real menus. It's the *target* module (the one that you are trying to control) that has to be set to "none" menu assignment. Please look through the Quick Start guide again.
The PHP code looks fine I think.
Hope that works now...
Cheers,
Stephen
Re: Disable module on specific categories Virtuemart
there's one little thing more....
i set the metamod module's position on the left, and everything works but i see a blank button on the left menu when the zoom effect is enabled.
when i try to change position the module doesn't work more.
how can i fix this?
thanks again
