Modules spacing, overlap
Re: Modules spacing, overlap
Hi Peter,
When you are not using MetaMod, and if you have more than one module in a module position, is the spacing different?
1 - you may need to make some changes with your CSS. I recommend the use of FireBug on Firefox to examine your CSS code and find the right places to change it.
2 - If the spaces are occurring ONLY because the modules are inside a MetaMod, and if the spacing works better when you don't use a MetaMod, then MetaMod Pro will fix it. With MetaMod Pro, there will be no additional HTML generated to wrap the included modules - they will be placed directly onto the page as if MetaMod was not there. This generally fixes this sort of problem. (if that *was* the problem!)
3 - You can also try different vales for the "style for included modules" dropdown in MetaMod. You might find that one of these produces different HTML.
4 - You can try adding a random "class suffix" into the "css class suffix" box in MetaMod. Sometimes this is enough to change the CSS and HTML.
In the end, this is a CSS issue, and there's no direct control in MetaMod to change the amount of spacing above and below the modules.
Hope that helps,
Stephen
