Question before deciding on MetaMod Pro
Hi metamodguy,
I have been MetaMod user for quite a time now. I was having an issue where I want to publish some modules for visitors, and take it off when they logged in. The thing is, the module is not visible, but the styling was still there!
Assuming you get what I am describing, I want to ask if MetaMod Pro solves this issue? So far that is the only feature that I opted in MetaMod. I would really like when I did something like
Code:
if ($option == com_something) return;
and it really returns none, without the module styling and what not. Please advise. Thank you for your time and concern.
Re: Question before deciding on MetaMod Pro
Hi Pembaris,
yes, this is exactly what MetaMod Pro achieves. If you return nothing, then absolutely no module gets put into that place (not even the MetaMod itself).
However, please also check these FAQ's for some other hints which can often help the styling problems. These will help only if it's a CSS issue (and even then, not always, depending on your template). MetaMod Pro is the only sure and easy way to get around these problems.

Hope that helps,
