EnableContentLanguages 1.0

Hello Stephen/Metamodguy

Today I downloaded "EnableContentLanguages 1.0"
Unfortunately, this would not work in my home page!
I'm using "Joomla 1.0.15" in "Persian".
Have installed the program, enabled the plugin and have two language package in my system.
But still can not bring up any menu in my front page where man can change the language to English.
Will be grateful if you can help me to get some solution to this problem.

Hi Mehdis,

I am sorry to say that EnableContentLanguages does not provide a module for changing the site language. You need something like Joom!Fish if you want that functionality.

Basically, EnableContentLanguages allows you to install a language pack for a given language, then when you enter an article you can select that language from the drop-down list of languages when you are editing/entering the article. Then, when people view that article in the front end, the correct language codes are set in the <head> section of the page, and some other text on the page may also appear in the target language (e.g. the word "search..." in the search box, since that's defined in the language pack).

I hope that explains the situation.
