Issue with module only on the home page
Hi,
I've used MetaMod to set a module to only show on the home page, but for some reason, even though the module content doesn't load on the other pages, the empty module position does. Luckily I've managed to hide this with CSS, but I don't want unnecessary code slowing down my page loading time.
If you go to the below link you will notice the title in a green banner at the top. But if you click 'read more' on one of the articles and examine the code with developer tools, you will notice that the HTML for the module is still loading. I'm not sure why this is? It seems as though my code is hiding the module only, but I need it to hide the module position.

Code I've used: if ($option == "com_k2" and $view == "itemlist") return 169;
I've disabled the title module and set the MetaMod module to show only on the home page.
All help is greatly appreciated because I've run out of ideas?
Many thanks
Re: Issue with module only on the home page
Hi,
check out the FAQs: http://www.metamodpro.com/metamod/faq
Basically you can solve this easily with MetaMod Pro. There are some other possible solutions but the Pro solution is by far the easiest and most elegant.
Cheers,
Stephen
