Re: Start and End Date Chnges on Save
Hi ACVMF,
this is truly weird behaviour and I've never seen it happen before. Thanks for reporting it.
Can I check with you what you are putting into which boxes?
e.g. are you putting the following 2 values into the "Start date/time (freeform)" and "End date/time (freeform)" boxes:
Feb 12
Feb 13
... or were you trying to put "Feb 12 - Feb 13" into one box or something like that?
Also can you give any more info about the crash? How did you know it crashed, and do you know what you can put into the box in order to make it happen?
Of course, if you put invalid PHP code into the PHP box in MetaMod then that definitely makes MetaMod crash...
Thanks,
Stephen
Re: Start and End Date Chnges on Save
Thank you for responding Stephen.
I used the standard Joomla date format like I do with all articles that I set publishing dates. I will do more testing with this as soon as I can. We are in the middle of a fundraising project and I cannot risk having problems with the site, nor do I have time right now but I will get back to you on this. It will be quite a while though.
I really want a recurring extension for articles and modules but I would prefer it used the core Joomla publishing to do it. How about just a radio button check Box beside the publishing start and end dates.
Thanks again!

Re: Start and End Date Chnges on Save
Hi,
as I have been unable to replicate the problems, I'm putting this issue to the side right now until you're able to provide more info. All the best with your site in the meantime.
Best regards,
Stephen
