Style problem with custom styles of YooTheme
Style problem with custom styles of YooTheme
Hi there,
first let me say thank you for this fantastic extension. The possibilities that it offers make me shiver ;-) Lots of ideas for its use come into my mind.
I have one small problem with the styling the module: I am using the YooTheme template "Explorer" which comes with its own set of styles (see this page for an overview: http://demo.yootheme.com/ and chose Dec09 - Explorer from the listbox labeled "Select a template below:" Go to Template - Module Variations). I have not applied any styles in the module class suffix (the field which controls the appearance of custom styles) and have a "style-rounded color-templatecolor" entered into the "Style overrid for included module field". My selection of "Style for included modules" is set to none.
However, the selected style does not appear. Here is my configuration:
- Joomla 1.5.15
- MetaMod 2.1
- See it in action @ http://www.pixelking.org/eknd/index.php … ;Itemid=40
I want to create some kind of BioBox over each post (but not on category, forum, frontpage etc.).
Hope anyone can help me. Thanks in advance!!!
Phil
Re: Style problem with custom styles of YooTheme
hmmm... now it seems not to work anymore in the correct way (makes me CRAZY!!!)
Now the title shows up also in category-blog layout overviews although I thought I restricted it with the following code:
Code:
if (
$option == 'com_content'
and $view == 'article'
) return 45;
I'm really a little bit disappointed by Joomla because I think having a module showing up only on a specified article should be a core functionality of a CMS.
Re: Style problem with custom styles of YooTheme
Here is my solution to the problems described above. I bought the PRO version and hey, 19 bucks is really a bargain. I know that this "solution" may not be satisfying for everyone but I only can encourage you to do the same, because this module is really worth it and you support the great work, Stephen has done.
Thanks again for this fantastic extension.

Hi Phil,
Looks like you answered your own question before I could get to it... Thanks for your kind words, and I am thrilled that it's solving your display and module placement issues.
Best regards,
Stephen
