Control modules based on page content/keywords/description don't work
Hi
My very favorite recipe don't work in Joomla 3.1
I have tried using "Control modules based on page content/keywords/description" to show a module based on a word in content, description or a keyword with no luck. Have tried using template Beez3 with no luck. If I just ask Metamod to return the module it works fine.
If I just enter
$names = array(
"" => 5
);
I do get module 5, so it don't seem read any of the three text types.

Re: Control modules based on page content/keywords/description don't work
Hi Krull,
I've worked on a similar issue with that recipe. The thing that stopped it working was a template, I think it was JAT3 or YooTheme or similar framework. The framework did a pre-rendering thing that meant that the modules got rendered BEFORE the main page component. Therefore, the modules had no access to the component output, which is what you're after in this case.
The only way around the situation was to disable MetaMod Pro (the system plugin). For technical reasons this fixed the rendering order and made it work, but then of course you didn't get the Pro features.
Could you try unpublishing the Pro module and see if it makes any difference?
Cheers,
Stephen
