Pre-sales question: display of content depending on custom user field

HI

Just a quick question: if I have a custom user field called say "Region" ... is it possible to display content according to this?

so : if user->region is "Surrey" show adverts from the category "SurreyBanners"

Hi,

can I ask how you are creating the custom user field? Is it via something like CommunityBuilder, or something else? Please also include your version of Joomla and whichever 3rd-party component you are using for the additional fields. (or maybe it's using the built-in plugin in J2.5?)
