Making menu item active?

Making menu item active?

Hi there,
I have no problem to switch main menu(s) depending on user type (client, candidate, partner) Is there any way to make any item of switched menu active?
Thanks and greatly appreciated!!!

Re: Making menu item active?

Hi Bnashan,

Can you be more specific about what you want to achieve?

Many menus are able to detect the currently-active menu item, and change something in the HTML so that the CSS should be able to highlight the right item.

This is independent of MetaMod, and I don't think there's much that MetaMod could (or necessarily should) do to get around it. That's if I am understanding you correctly.

Cheers,
Stephen

Re: Making menu item active?

Hi Stephen,
First thanks for fast reply! Here i am trying to clarify scenario. There is top main menu for general public. There are few more top but different main menus that are controlled and displayed by MetaMod (thanks!) There are (client, candidate, partner) usertypes. Once respective user (let say 'partner')clicked on general menu item "Partners" - Partners log in module appears. "Partner" presents its credential. Here after identifying usertype as "partner" MetaMod switches respective (for partner) top menu. One of the item in this menu is "Partners" and I would like to make/force it to go("hot/highlighted/active")as default.
Hope that i didn't make scenario more obscuring(?)
Sorry, This scenario was resolved (i should know it to begin with) via normal login success module redirection. Resolved
Thanks! Great Respect and Appreciation
Boris
