Roket Template Presets Based on Category

Roket Template Presets Based on Category

If I want to change the preset of a Roket Theme I mearly add ?presets=presetXYZ to my url. However this give ugly urls if I was to add additional parameter query strings to the menu items. Also relying on menu items is not robust enough.

Is there a way I can harness the logic behind

if ( $content_genius->check("category_id not = 44") ) return 139;

So that any aricle in NOT cat ID 44 changes my presets=presetXYZ

Or any aricle that IS in cat ID 44 changes my presets=presetABC

ie whichever logic is quicker to process (there are less articles in cat 44)

Thanks Steve

Re: Roket Template Presets Based on Category

Hi uglykidjoe,

This is not something that MetaMod can do, as it only deals with modules. You should be able to do this in Chameleon (or even in Chameleon Lite if you are using J1.5):

for the PHP rule, use this:

if ( $content_genius->check("category_id not = 44") ) return true;

then in the SUCCEED action's PHP box:

JRequest::setVar("presets", "presetXYZ");

Best regards,
Stephen
