Re: Different Main Menu For Each page

Hi OlijO,

Chameleon doesn't deal directly with modules/menus. Generally, menus are either displayed using modules, or sometimes hardcoded into templates (e.g. in a template framework).

If your menu is displayed using a module, I'd recommend just creating your 2 different menus, then create 2 different modules (one for each menu). Then you should be able to assign these to particular pages (menu items) in the normal Joomla way.

If the normal Joomla way of assigning modules onto menu items is not sufficient (e.g. the 2 pages in question are not actually distinct menu items, but are perhaps different pages in the same component), then you could use MetaMod (www.metamodpro.com) to help you choose exactly when each of the 2 different menu modules will be displayed.

Cheers,
Stephen
