MetaMod is a sort of “wrapper” module that includes other modules inside it, according to the configuration and rules that you set. It doesn’t have the power to turn other modules “on” or “off”.

When you set up modules to be included inside MetaMod, you need to make sure that there’s no way that they can show up “on their own”, i.e. without being included inside a MetaMod.

• When you set up a module for MetaMod to include, tell it to display on “Menus: None”.
• This prevents it from showing up on any page, unless included by a MetaMod.
• When the module is included by a MetaMod, the “Menu” assignment and/or “Position” assignment will be over-ridden.
