While MetaMod Pro is a commercial extension (you need to purchase the right to download it), the module and constituent plugin are covered by the GNU Public License. Among other freedoms, this license guarantees that the source code to the extension is available, and after purchase you may install this on as many sites as you like.

Until 4 July 2011, MetaMod Pro was covered by a commercial, proprietary license. This license no longer applies.

MetaTemplate

The MetaTemplate component and constituent plugins are covered by the GNU Public License. Among other freedoms, this license guarantees that the source code to the extension is available, and you may install this on as many sites as you like.
